Why did I start this website?

As an extra way to make money and do something with my creativity...Also to give me something to do when no ones online lol. I gave myself tendonitis from drawing for 13 hours straight so I cant draw and i need to do something- so I was one day just like "OMG- I can make cell phone charms!" So thats what Im going to try.

Have you ever done this before?

hahhaaaa no.. never- I used clay one other time years ago (I was 7-8) and ive messed around with play-doh- but ive never tried to do anything like this...should be fun!

Whats with all the bright colors??

Im trying to make the website look "cute" and brighter colors are more eye catching...am I doing it wrong?

What does "Kawaii-Mie" mean anyway?

Well- according to the English to japanese dictionary it means "cute/Adorable charm" so Im hoping im right lol

How do you figure out price?

It depends on the amount of work I put into it- the ones that take longer will cost more- ones that are easy are less.

What do you mean by custom made?

What do you think it means? It means I'll try to make a charm to your specifications- whether its a character, or just a different coloring job on one I've already made-

**as a note- its the ones I make completely from what you tell me that are the more expensive ones- simply changing the coloring job on one I've already made wont change the price =3

How long will I have to wait to get my order?

I honestly have no idea- but i hate keeping people waiting- so it shouldnt be long- I promise I'll get whatever you order done as quickly and as awesomely as possible- and if I dont think its worthy to send to you- then I'll start all over again- hopefully you can appreciate that =3 (Also I'll email you and let you know if i end up doing that- and heck I might even send you my mess ups if you want them)

What do you mean by "This is an experiment?"

What I mean by that is - I've never done this before- so I have no idea how things will turn out- So if it all turns out bad then I can think it was a good effort and well theres not too much i can do about it- if it turns out well then I can be even more excited if the experiment was a success- right?

Why doesnt the charm I recieved look just like the one on your website??

well because these are hand made- by me- one at a time lol- theres no molds or anything I mold them with my hands- so they're bound be to a bit different every time- besides it gives it a unique quality!

What does the "P" mean in some of the pictures?

It means prototype- in other words its not the final picture i want to go with for the site XD its just a filler

I dont allow large orders since its just me making them- by myself- no one to help me. Its very tedious- and although I enjoy making them and I appreciate that you like them enough to buy a bunch of them, Its not that easy for me to make a bunch of them for you- However- you can always email me at Kawaii-mie@live.com- and we can discuss it nonetheless.

Who are the characters in the banner?

Those would be my pets- My chinchilla Chiku-Banzai, and my Cat Cheyanne-

What do you use to make the charms?

I use original sculpey oven bake clay (white)- you can find it at wal-mart for about $5.97

After you make the charms (you know sculpt them) what do you do?

I put in an eyelet, bake them- then paint them- then if they've been sold I glaze them- and mail them out- but only if I think they look good enough to go to you- I'm pretty picky

why do some of the pictures of charms not have eyelets?

see the pictures you see on the website are actually pictures of the charms IM keeping as references for me to use to make charms for you- so my references dont always have eyelets in them because it would be a waste because I probably wont hang them on my phone- and if my reference charms have an eyelet that means its one less eyelet to go out to someone who buys one! oh dear... we cant have that can we?

What if I dont want it as a charm? and I just want the food items or animals as an item for a dollhouse or something?

I can totally do that- just let me know and I wont add an eyelet or a cord- unfortunately it doesnt cost anyless since you're paying for the charm itself not the eyelet and the cord- those are free with it- so if you want them anyway I'll send them to you outside of the item.
