Yep! the kawaii-mie store is now open! Lets see how well it works shall we? At the moment we have only one of each product in there as a sort of test, to make sure I can keep up and things- at some point im going to spend a bunch of time making a bunch of each thing as well as some new items, but not right now. I still have other work to accomplish.

I made a new years resolution to myself to work harder this year- however once the new year showed its face I was hit with a sick bug- so I couldnt make good on my promise save for some miniscule work on the website and things.

So anyway back to the journal- We are still UNDER CONSTRUCTION-

but Im debating over whether I want to change the color scheme of the site- I rather like it... I might just add onto it and make different images, change a few things and then keep it mostly the same- again Im not sure- website layout changes is one of the last things on my list at the moment.

I did finish the vet clinic- (mostly, I may want to add more at some point, but by all accounts it IS DONE)

Added some drawings and a link to the new store (isnt open yet) and Im doing commissions on the side as well. Busy busy! Yet i STILL find time for minecraft and Roleplay- how DO I do it?

haha!

I know theres been a Major lack of updates or me doing anything on this site for a bit- but I dont want you guys to think I've been lazy- because I have been working- Just not on anything you can see yet-

For example- I made an evil mushroom trinket box for my cousin-

isnt it awesome? yea I think it is. lol. No one ever suspects the evil mushrooms...

I also finished the painting on crystals wall- we just dont have a pic of it.

And I've been working on making displays and stuff to put my charms and whatnot in a store called Aleug-

So I've been major busy with that. And I still have alot more to do.

I also have been working on a catalouge for the website too! Heres a taste of it.

Im also still working on more jewelry and more charms and things. so dont count me out of the race just yet!

now that I handled that- I can tell you why- the main reason is that my wrist hurts- It gets to where I can barely type.... but its feeling better today- so I've been doing miscellaneous things around the website- Like messing with the navigation- Im trying to make it easier to navigate- I know you click on the areas then you get sort of a dropdown of the other places in there you can go- but sometimes its hard to tell- and I REALLY like this layout so Im messing with that by adding links in the first area you click- to the others.

yea you probably dont know what Im talking about...You'll probably understand it when you see it...

...Anyway-

I've also been sort of working on My grandpas website- It takes a while, I am no site genie- but I think Im doing okay- all the links work and some of them have stuff in them. Or rather I think ALL of them do- they just dont have EVERYTHING in them. I'll try to add more to them later- if I get the chance- I have chores to do besides this work-

And yet I STILL make no money... *sigh*

Speaking of that- Im taking commissions- Im just going to copy paste the info from a different site because Im lazy-

I absolutely HATE doing this sort of thing... but I really really really need money- I dont even have enough to buy BEDDING so I can clean my chinchillas cage...I mean I can probably borrow the money from my mom- but still that makes me feel bad... and I understand that people are almost as broke as me- but help would be appreciated if its possible.

Im also still making multitudes of things and going to the farmers market, but no one seems to like what I make... soo if you dont wanna buy something- ideas on what might sell would be excellent too.

Sooo because of this Im taking commissions and $5 sketches- I also Take commissions for Making things for you out of clay- like I could make a custom alley cat Or even one of the ones already made if you prefer. I can also well try to make pretty much anything.

as for art commissions I'd prefer if they were traditional- digital art kills me these days- and as for rules- Go here these Pertain to anything I could make for you- whether its out of clay or a drawing.

The $5 sketches will be unfinished sketches- but I wont make them look bad- I'll make them worth your money- the real commissions will be done as good as possible- as for price we can discuss it. I need money but I dont want to break your bank either.

As for how long you'll have to wait- I'll do my best not to make you wait too long- I'm really busy doing so many things, but none of these things are really making me any money- however that doesnt mean I can stop doing them. So I'll have to find time to do your commissions in between that work- and Whe nmy wrist allows me to do any work whatsoever-

But I promise I'll get them to you as fast as possible.

Also any help spreading the word would be helpful too.

as mentioned in the blog before this, thanks to my wonderous friend we have a flash catalogue of my stuff- and other things- but Im TRYING to find new revenues for a catalogue sort of thing- like maybe Microsoft powerpoint? However my trial of it is out- so Im trying to get the full version somehow-

Lol also he keeps spelling my username and my site name wrong- Silly Unit <3 He's also working on a better version of the catalogue. Im so far very pleased with his work ethic- and Very grateful that he's helping me <3

Not only that I've been busy working on things for the craft market- the people I meet there always give me extra chores to do for them- For example as payment for a cupcake seller who gave me free cupcakes Im making her some cupcake earrings and stuff. Get the idea? yea thats been happening. lol. Im not trying to sound like Im complaining however.

AND I've been working on making my grandpas website for him- Man is THAT work in itself!! augh- I never claimed to be any good at designing websites but I think Im doing okay so far! see? [link]

So I've been working and doing and going and making and OH I'm also working on Rearranging my room- so theres MORE business added to my schedule.

but its worth it.

I AM MORE THAN SORRY for the lack of updates lately- I have been busy- and unable to work on things because of a commandeered table and a sick grandfather, issues with pets, issues with other pets, family issues- its been sorta busy.. lol. But I have good news- I UPDATED!

anyway its not really much and its kind of a lazy update- but I've spent over 6 hours working on inventory and this update- so I think it can be a little lazy right? Anyway! heres whats new!

Theres some new jewelry for one!

theres some shark teeth earrings, and even some pendants that I wirewrapped myself! Im still an ametuer- but at least im trying right?

I also figured that since I had so many charms that I would make some jewelry out of them too-

so we have updates in the jewerly area under the ones made with my charms, we have new earrings, and a few bracelets ^^

It might not seem like alot to you- but it was alotta work for me lol.

also Im sorry for the lack of pictures this update- they're mostly in photo galleries, and I dont want to use up a ton of my bandwith this time ^^

Oh man Im so excited- I have so many new things in store- and I've been working non stop lately to do them! I have a few updates for you- that I spent oalmost 4 hours putting up- so lets get right into it!

first Off we have new sections! we have jewelry and theres so many new things in there for you to see! Have a look!

those bottles are only an inch tall- Perfect for little pendants on a necklace or a bracelet- Or even possibly on your cell phone- whereever you want to put it! but you have to be careful because the bottles ARE glass. and mistreatment will break them- and you'll lose the faerie magic inside of them.

Onward we go!

I updated the alley cat area and got unlazy and added the new arrivals in the Meet the alley cats area- go see the new cats if you want <3 Im sure they'd love a home with you!

I also added some new wall paintings- So you can look at those too if you want!

Oh man- so many things and so many more things to do!

Hi there! Little while no update!

I dont really have anything to show you- sorry! But I do have cool new Ideas that I really hope will go over well!

They'll just take time to make XD please be patient with me while I work!

Im going to start making clocks- for one thing- yayyyyy- Im not really sure what to do for them- I was thinking Faeries with a woodland theme, Maybe even a mario one? Animal crossing? Zodiac animals? I have a few ideas I guess its just excuting them that will be the problem.

Im also going to be making trinket boxes- at the moment in my mind I want to make an Animal crossing one- With Tom nook and his nooks cranny store where you can take the roof off and hide things in it ^^ and quite possibly some others too-

Im going to make some things in bottles necklaces- like embryos, and squids and things- and they'll glow in the dark- Im gonna work on making earrings and things- Im going to try to go all out here- so I really hope you all stick around! I can only do what I can do right?

In anycase the farmers market is more fun than profitable- and people really seem to like the alley cats- thats mostly what I've sold- and thats fine- at least its something-

However, though I want to make money- I think the better thing is the people I meet and talk to while Im there- and of course the time I get to spend with my best friend crystal, and Katy when shes there, as well as my own mom when she keeps me company. Its very fun and every time Its time to leave I dont really want to do it-

haha Im such a sap.

I might also be putting some of my things in the store- Something special gifts 

Im supposed to go in and talk to them today- And if it goes well I'll have to work my ass off to make things to go there too!

But its the funnest job I've ever had (besides working at Alley cat bead- that ones still number one- for many many reasons) So I dont have much room to complain- I just wish I made more money doing it. Ah well- ^^

Oh! I also redid the doughnut charms, and I do have some more charms to take pictures of and add- but I havent gotten the chance- We've been busy with family problems and friends, so I havent had much of a chance to work. I hope to get back to it here soon.

Theres not alot to report- IT was our first day at the farmers market- We didnt do too bad considering it was the first day, we did okay! and it was fun! sooooo yes!

A nice old man on Pedal bike even gave me a mint- and I get a free spinal alignment and consultation from a chiropractor! HURRAY-

Im hoping next week we do much better- especially when theres more people that know about the place- Where we're set up is really nice too! In a little fenced in area- right in heritage square in downtown zeeland ^^ and it will remain our spot for I think the whole season!

Things are still somewhat on hold, as I'm still working on things here and there- But more so because IM OUT OF CLAY! lol- Sooo I need to make more money so I can buy clay therefore make more charms to make more money.

A catch 22. *sigh* lol.

Yes, sorry to have to say it- but the website updates are on pause for a while-

What does this mean?

Basically what this means is that I probably wont have the chance to make new charms to add to the inventory- seeing as I have to work my ass off to make copies of ones I already have made before for me to sell at the farm market in june- however you can still order things from the site and i will still make them in a timely and quick manner (or at least to the best of my ability) there may possibly be one or two small updates if I can find the time, but I wouldnt count on it- i have lots of work to do.

I also have a recent job to paint the walls of my friends room with pctures. so that will also take up my time for updating the site- so please be patient with me and enjoy what I have already done.

And for those of you who are wondering where I'll be? I'll be at the main street market in Zeeland michigan, every friday from the beginning of june till the end of september under the name "Alley kitten".

why yes I HAVE been working hard- so very hard- And after this update I'm taking a well deserved break for a little bit- You can still order things- but there wont be any new charms for a little bit- I think I deserve a break-
My recent endeavors were spending two weeks making Cat charms for Bill over at Alley cat bead, once I find a working printer and can print out the cards that go with them Im gonna mail them out and then you can buy them, if you want a sneak peek of the cats you can goo check out all the random photos I took of them in the Alley cat area photo gallery. You'll probably also notice if you go there that theres a vet clinic- though not in service yet- It will be for repairing alley cats people have bought- I'll get that up and running soon as well.

Yea Im done with the construction lol I added "buy now" and "add to cart" buttons. And accidentally deleted the "by price" section but im too lazy to put it back so its gone now.

When you add to cart you'll notice two options "This is my first item" and "this isnt my first" Your first item will cost you $2 shipping then every item after that will be 75 cents. I hope thats fair. I also hope people will be honest...>_>.

I spent forever adding the buttons- if you run into any problems please let me know. now onto the sneak peeks of whats to come!

Yea im working on the ordering/ shipping problem- if you look theres now "buy now" buttons-so you can at least buy one of each item, and later I plan to add back the "add to cart" buttons. but I spent over two hours on the "buy now" buttons... I think i can take a break- the site works, it just needs MORE work- this is about the 6th time in a few days I've fixed the buttons, so its not like im slacking- it takes a while to do it- not including the time it takes to make the buttons themselves. So im going to take a short break from working on the website- but I will be working on charms-and if I feel like it while on my break I may just pick up and work on the site again- I dont know but right now I dont really feel like it- I just want to leave it ALONE- lol..

Im working on fixing the Shipping prices- they seem to be a lilttle too high- especially if you were to buy more than one charm- at the moment the shipping price is $2.00 and I think thats a biiiit too high- it adds up- and I'm trying not to cost people a ton of money for cute charms... and at that rate- If someone bought 3 charms.. they'd owe me $6  in shipping- so if they already bought lets say three  $5 charms... thats too much... so I gotta figure out a way to get paypal to let it work for me =3 I'll get to work on that tomorrow...

That means I have to Redo ALLLLLLL the shipping buttons but whatever... Maybe I'll add a buy now button too for people who just want one item. gotta draw it. lol... Anyway be on the look out for new charms- if you look over in the Charms by type area theres some new sections, yea theres gonna be some new stuff- I doubt anyone looks at this site anyway- so im probably talkin to no one =3 whatever- maybe one day I'll talk to someone.

So I made a bunch of charms, and some beads, but my step dad Left the camera up north in his jeep soooo I need to wait till he gets it back before I can show you guys the new stuff I made x.x... whoops..

Some charms to look foreward to seeing when I get the camera back-

- Fiddler crabs (in rememberance of my pet King clawson)
